After months of preparation, 16th October was the most important day of a three weeks Maligia ceremony, held for my father and other Royal family members.

Maligia is the final ceremony that each family in Bali is obliged to perform for a deceased family member. It purifies the soul of the deceased to definitively separate it from all earthly bonds.
